What is the The Intern Project Career Exploration Program?

High school students in Los Angeles journey together to explore dynamic career pathways through an 8 week program. Students build up career experience and enhance their skill sets.

​Activities include informational interviews, skills workshop (communication, intro to software used, project management and planning, or a small skills based project). Participating students receive college credit and take a part of an internship! 
Students Receive:
  • Paid Stipend $$$
  • College Credit 
  • Mentors and Coaches
  • Work Experience/ Training
  • Professional Certification

Eligibility

All South LA High School 10th-12th grade students are eligible to apply. 
  • South LA 10th-12th grade youth 
  • High School DACA/Undocumented Youth 
  • High School Foster Youth & system involved youth
  • All applicants must be available to attend at least 80% of the program workshops which are after-school Tuesdays/ Thursdays 4:30-6:30pm and a few Saturdays
    • Majority of the program is virtual ​​

Rolling Acceptances (accepting students as application are received) ​
Fall 2023 Program Deadline: Applications Now Closed
Fall Program Length:  Beginning October 2023 - Beginning of December
Fall Program Days & Times: Tuesdays (virtual), Thursdays (virtual), Saturdays (in person)
