What is the intern project?The Intern Project (TIP) provides outstanding 10th through 12th-grade high school students from schools across LA County with the opportunity to work in dynamic career areas.
The TIP Summer Program runs for 8 weeks (June- August), matching students to work in company partner fields such as Arts, Media & Entertainment, Engineering & Tech, Business, Government/Non-Profit/Philanthropy, Sports, and Healthcare & Medical Technology. Through The Intern Project, students get:
Paid Work Experience Real experience with employers. Career Exploration Exposure to industries and employer mentorship. Career Readiness Professional development programming, including resume writing, interviewing, LinkedIn, and workplace skills workshops. College & Credentials College credit and work readiness credentials where applicable. Where students have worked
